Teaching and sharing the marvelous tradition of Classical Ballet based in the Vaganova Technique. Creating educative and recreational programs for initiate children in dance and acting as part of their full performing education.
Coaching special programs related with dance and performing arts as ice skating, dance therapy and fitness. Promoting social and multicultural dance as part of the adult program. (For non-professional dancers).
Sala Classical Ballet & Performing Arts Studio was opened in September 2004 by Adriana P. Sala-Mascari and Edward A. Mascari. The SCB Studio encompasses the classical ballet program based on the Vaganova Technique and offers a one mid-term evaluation and the final term evaluation is based on a stage performance.
The transition from professional student to professional dancer is achieved within the eight grades of Vaganova Technique. Adriana P. Sala-Mascari teaches the classes and creates/choreographs original works for the Sala Classical Ballet students. Students of SCB have the opportunity to develop their skills, learn the fundamentals of the performing arts and acquire other dance disciplines and styles. Mrs. Sala-Mascari considers the importance of tradition, culture, good manners, etiquette, respect and discipline. Sala Classical Ballet offers classes for the non-professional dancer.
These workshops include: Latin Rhythm (free style), Fitness-ballet, and belly dance, which promotes recreational health. Note: Please see our classes schedule for temporary workshops. Classical Ballet is a full year program from September to June.
