“Relive the Passover Exodus” with Rabbi Kramer
Community members are invited to participate in Chabad Center for Jewish Life’s community Seders to be held on Friday night, April 19th at 7:45 pm and again on Saturday night, April 20th at 7:15 pm. Both Seders will feature rich discussion about Passover, excellent food, and joyous singing. Chabad Rabbi Kramer of the Chabad Center for Jewish Life, will facilitate the inter-generational program.
The community Passover Seders will both be held at the recently enlarged and renovated Chabad Center for Jewish Life, 2174 Hewlett Avenue, Merrick, NY 11566.
The Seders costs are $45 for Adults and $25 for Children ages 4-12 (3 and under are free). Reservations must be made in advance, by contacting Chabad at 516-833-3057 or or visit the website at http://www.ChabadJewishLife.org/seder.
The eight-day festival of Passover is celebrated this year from sundown on Friday night, April 19th, until after nightfall on Saturday, April 27th. Passover commemorates the exodus of the Jews from Egypt and will be celebrated with festive “Seder” dinners on April 19th and April 20th. Other holiday observances include restricting the consumption of leavened products such as bread and pasta, instead eating unleavened matzah. Additional information about the Passover holiday is available at http://www.ChabadJewishLife.org/Passover.
