AdvoKids: Cinco de Mayo

This May AdvoKids will feature the true history of Cinco de Mayo and the Battle of Puebla during one of Mexico’s resistance movements. After learning about this piece of history, visitors will create a drum using every day materials.

“AdvoKids” is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience and empathy.

This is a drop-in program, free with admission.
