During this workshop, visitors will learn about MLK beyond his “I Have a Dream” speech and gain a better understanding of his impact on the civil rights movement. Visitors will also participate in a gallery walk of images from the Civil Rights Movement and then create a bell to “let freedom ring.”

“AdvoKids” is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience and empathy.

Workshops at 11am and 1pm.

Fee: $4 with Museum admission, $3 LICM members. Event tickets will be on sale at the Box Office the day of the event.
