In April our AdvoKids series focuses on the Muslim holiday, Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan. Visitors will then create a paper lantern, which represents the holy month of Ramadan.
“AdvoKids” is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience and empathy.
This is a drop-in program; the paper lantern takes approximately 10 minutes and it is yours to keep.
