Join us to celebrate Holi, the Festival of Colors. Originating in India, this Hindu festival marks the end of winter and the arrival of the colorful spring season. During this joyous celebration, families eat sweets, dance to traditional folk music and throw colorful powder made from flowers called gulal.
Try your hand at mask making, help us decorate a Holi “elephant” and create Holi bracelets. View traitional clothing and Holi Festival celebrations from around India.
Take part in all the Holi traditions at LICM as we welcome the arrival of spring.
P.S Wear white clothes that you don’t mind getting messy!
Celebrate Holi! is made possible with the support of the Guru Krupa Foundation.
