Long Island Children’s Museum Presents: A Light-Art Collaboration

Illuminate your imagination and inspire creativity! In this educator-led, hands-on workshop, participants will be introduced to the history and process of lantern making while creating their own unique composition inspired by the theme “Sweet Dreams”. In collaboration with LuminoCity, participants’ 2-D artwork will be submitted for a chance to have it brought to life as a 3-D light sculpture featured on display at the 2024 LuminoCity Festival.
Workshops will take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Fee: Free with Museum admission but ticket required. Workshop tickets will be available at the Box Office the day of the event.
